Ice cream shop FAQ
Can compostable bowls go in the freezer?
Yes. NoTree® paper bowls are freezer safe, so you can pre-pack pints and quarts and store them in your freezer case.
Can I use the same bowls for hot fudge sundaes?
Yes. NoTree® bowls handle hot and cold foods up to 220°F. Clear PLA cups and lids are for cold items only, so use fiber soufflé cups or NoTree® portion cups for hot toppings on the side.
Which cups should I use for milkshakes?
NoTree® paper cold cups (12, 16 and 22 oz) are made for shakes and fountain drinks and take a clear lid with a straw slot. Clear PLA cups with a domed lid are a good fit when you want to show off whipped cream and toppings.
Can I order smaller quantities for a seasonal shop?
Yes. Most items come in smaller packs as well as full cases. For a pre-season stock-up or multi-case order, request a quote and we'll send delivered pricing.
How fast do you ship?
Orders ship within 2 business days from the Lehigh Valley, PA, with carbon-neutral shipping. We serve Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware.
Where can these be composted?
These products are certified for commercial composting facilities, which aren't available everywhere. We can help you find composting options near your shop.
